If you missed our participant briefing session, there is also some important information below, including a participant guide and slides/recording of the session.

Actions required:

  1. Tell us your JASMIN and GitHub usernames in our [shared spreadsheet]
    • If you already have a JASMIN account, please ensure you have the right permissions
    • If your JASMIN username says “<temporary account>”, then we will allocate you an account for the hackathon and send this at a later date
  2. Add yourself to our Slack with this [invite link]
    • Say hello in the #intros channel
    • Join the channel for your project – we would encourage you to communicate and share background information with your team and project lead prior to the event
    • In your project’s Slack channel you will also find useful links, including a shared Word document you can use for collaboration
  3. Look at the Participant guide which is a summary of the key points covered during the briefing presentation
